One of our largest initiatives is the mentorship program. Our experience indicates that achieving a stable and good life requires two aspects to be in place: the personal and the professional. For someone who has found themselves in isolation, this journey can seem long and hard, especially if they must walk it alone.
That’s why we have developed a mentorship program aimed at providing personal follow-up from someone who has already walked the same path, both personally and professionally.
We match a mentor with relevant expertise in the specific field the participant wishes to engage in and another mentor who has overcome similar challenges to those the participant is facing. This is an educational approach based on interpersonal relationships and competence.
Far too many drop out halfway, but with one-on-one follow-up, it becomes easier for each person to experience success and gain the motivation to see things through to the end.
