What?
We envision a society where everyone can discover their purpose, realise their full potential, and give back to the communities around them. A society where every person, no matter their background or past struggles, is given a fair chance to succeed.
We walk alongside youth and adults who have faced exclusion and setbacks, helping them rebuild their lives through mentorship, life skills, and the needed support to reach their goals and dreams again.
How?
Through our programs and activities we strengthen skills, build confidence, and inspire personal growth by creating opportunities for people outside the labor market and education system.
We collaborate with regional businesses, municipalities, and community organizations to fight social exclusion, bridge workforce gaps, and help individuals build meaningful, self-directed futures. We offer career guidance to our participants and involve them in our network of opportunities.

Our Story
NextGen Ambassadors was born out of the Master’s program in Transformation and Innovation at the University of Stavanger, when three students asked a simple but bold question: What if lived experience itself could be an important key to solving social exclusion?
We started because labour shortages and social exclusion are two of the greatest challenges of our time and we believe they can be solved together. The best solutions are not created for people, but with them. That’s why NGA was built side by side with those who know the journey best.
With lived experience at the heart of everything we do, we designed a model where your struggles don’t define you. We don’t care about the mistakes you’ve made or the labels society has given you. We care about your strengths, interests, dreams, and what you can bring to your community. Here, everyone is welcome, and everything is possible.
Over the past years, our team has walked alongside hundreds of people, creating jobs, opening access to education, and helping individuals rebuild their everyday lives. We’ve seen again and again that when people are believed in, they rise. To us, this is more than work. It’s a way of proving that every person has value, and every life has purpose, and we have just begun.
Our Theory of Change
We believe lasting change begins when people are brought together around a shared purpose: connecting those who need support with those who want to contribute to something meaningful. Our model is built on three elements:
Mattering – Every participant is matched with someone who genuinely believes in them. This trust builds confidence and gives people the courage to explore their interests and opportunities.
Action with Support – Change doesn’t happen all at once. We help participants take small, consistent steps toward what matters most to them, guided by their mentor and the support of the NGA community.
Giving Back – Growth becomes even more powerful when it’s shared. As participants grow, they are encouraged to share their skills, help others, and contribute to their communities, creating a ripple effect of inclusion and purpose.
