Stories worth sharing. Impact worth covering. NextGen Ambassadors is a growing, value-driven organization tackling one of the biggest issues of our time, social exclusion. Our work combines lived experience, mentoring, and practical support to help individuals build a good and meaningful life. We collaborate with media, researchers, and organizations to raise awareness and share the stories that too often go unheard.
Social exclusion affects thousands across Norway. Social exclusion leads thousands to school dropout, long-term unemployment, mental health challenges, and disconnection from society. At NGA, we exist to prevent exclusion, support youth and adults rebuilding after life challenges, and bridge the gap between people and opportunity. We offer a scalable model for inclusion, powered by people with lived experience.

The NGA story
NextGen Ambassadors was born out of the Master’s program in Transformation and Innovation at the University of Stavanger, when three students asked a simple but bold question: What if lived experience itself could be an important key to solving social exclusion?
We started NGA because labour shortages and social exclusion are two of the greatest challenges of our time and we believe they can be solved together. The best solutions are not created for people, but with them. That’s why NGA was built side by side with those who know the journey best.
With lived experience at the heart of everything we do, we designed a model where your struggles don’t define you. We don’t care about the mistakes you’ve made or the labels society has given you. We care about your strengths, interests, dreams, and what you can bring to your community. Here, everyone is welcome, and everything is possible.
Over the past years, our team has walked alongside hundreds of people, creating jobs, opening access to education, and helping individuals rebuild their everyday lives. We’ve seen again and again that when people are believed in, they rise. To us, this is more than work. It’s a way of proving that every person has value, and every life has purpose. And we have just begun.
